Format Types
- There are basically two types of art file formats. Vector
or Line art and Rastor or Pixel art. Vector art is also known
as line art. The image is made from "wireframe"
outlines that can be enlarged or made to a larger scale and
will not loose any resolution as it is enlarged. Vertor art
is commonly used for vinyl cut decals, signs and some banners,
screen printed T shirts, and steel rule die stamping. The
other is Rastor art, or art or a photo made up of small dots
or "pixels" like the screen on your television or
computer monitor. When enlarged resolution is lost as the
dots enlarge. Raster art is commonly used in the printing
industry for business cards, newsletters, brochures, magazines
and other printed material.
Art or Drawing Programs
- There are many programs used in the making of art
files. Vector files can be made using Adobe Illustrator (.ai),
CorelDraw (.cdr), Macromedia Freehand and others. Raster files
are images that can be made or altered in Adobe Photoshop,
Corel PhotoPaint and others. These files are jpegs (jpg) ,
Bitmaps (bmp), .and .gif

100MB zip disc, CD rom, DVD, USB flash drive, memory card:
SD MS/PRO MMC XD, or via email to (solargraphics@hotmail.com).
If you are using email, use winzip or stuffit to compress
the file before emailing. ( Some email programs can alter
the coding of a file and it can become corrupted. Zipping
before sending will eliminate any problems).
